Changing Times 1945 -1965

The annual EAHS summer display will be ‘Changing Times: 1945-1965: August 18, 19 and 25, 26 from 10.00am to 3.00pm each days.

Which recollections from 1945 might resonate with you: listening in on a party line of the South Crosby Rural Telephone Company, cutting ice for your home refrigeration needs, attending a one/two room elementary school, enjoying a barn dance, growing up on a small farm?

However, by 1965, these activities, largely, belonged in the past.

Thousand Island Fine Art Association (TIFAA) 2018 Exhibition and Sale

TIFAA is hosting its 36th annual show over two week ends, September 15., 16., and 22.,
23. from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission and parking is free.
