Frontenac Womens Chorus

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

Art Threads – Tett Centre Community Gallery

The Kingston Fibre Artists’ annual show and sale, Art Threads, showcases new work by the Kingston Fibre Artists, including fibre art created primarily with paper. You are warmly invited to meet the artists at the Opening Reception at the Tett’s Community Gallery on Saturday, March 18 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. KFA members have been creating contemporary textile art and exhibiting together for the past 20 years. Art Threads is made possible by the generous support of the Ballytobin Foundation.

Brockville Museum Annual Book Sale

The Friends of the Brockville Museum’s annual book sale will be held March 20 – 24.

For those interested in buying, there are always thousands of books to choose from, ranging from paperbacks by your favourite authors, books on a myriad of subjects and even beautiful coffee-table books depicting art, people and, places.

…and if you’d like to both donate books and buy some more, all the better!  We’ll be happy to see you!

Glenn Miller Orchestra at The Grand Theatre

The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra is the most popular and sought after big band in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements. With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 and has been touring consistently since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world.

The show starts at 7:30pm with tickets $44.50-$49.50 plus HST/fees.
