Frontenac Womens Chorus

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

The Kingston Fibre Artists’ annual show and sale, Art Threads, showcases new work by the Kingston Fibre Artists, including fibre art created primarily with paper. You are warmly invited to meet the artists at the Opening Reception at the Tett’s Community Gallery on Saturday, March 18 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. KFA members have been creating contemporary textile art and exhibiting together for the past 20 years. Art Threads is made possible by the generous support of the Ballytobin Foundation.

Spring into Flavour

Downtown Brockville is hosting Spring into Flavour! From March 22nd to 26th participating restaurants will be offering various specials. Each time you eat a special, collect an “I ate here” card. If you collect three cards from different locations and post a picture of them on the Downtown Brockville Facebook page, you will be entered to win $100 in DBIA Gift Certificates!

CRCA Maple Madness - First Nations Display

For centuries, the people living in this part of the continent have taken advantage of the sweet bounty offered by the mighty stands of sugar maple trees that are in abundance. Residents of Kingston and surrounding area have a unique opportunity to learn how First Nations communities harvested and used sweet water to make maple syrup and maple sugar.
