Frontenac Womens Chorus

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

The Kingston Fibre Artists’ annual show and sale, Art Threads, showcases new work by the Kingston Fibre Artists, including fibre art created primarily with paper. You are warmly invited to meet the artists at the Opening Reception at the Tett’s Community Gallery on Saturday, March 18 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. KFA members have been creating contemporary textile art and exhibiting together for the past 20 years. Art Threads is made possible by the generous support of the Ballytobin Foundation.

Gibbons Family Farm Maple Sugar House is celebrating everything 'Sweet Ontario' pure maple syrup has to offer.

Maple taffy on snow (free)

Guided, educational tours of the sugar house - if there is sap, watch the wood fired evaporator in action

Self-guided walk to the maple bush - check the buckets or pipeline to see if the sap is running

Taste sampling (free)

Pancake breakfast at the church hall in the village of Frankville (8am to 12noon)

After selecting a beautiful bowl you will be able to choose from one of the wonderful restaurants who are donating soup.

Delta Mill Society Local Foods Dinner

April 8, 2017 - 6:00pm

Saturday, April 8 - LOCAL FOODS DINNER at the Old Town Hall with a Maple Inspired Menu featuring Wendy's Country Market and Chef Mark Beacock. Cocktails (cash bar) with local meats and cheese from 6 to 7 pm. Dinner will feature handmade Red Fife pasta (made with Old Stone Mill flour), maple smoked pork loin chop with fresh seasonal accompaniments and a local greens salad with a savory maple vinaigrette. Dessert will be Maple Chocolate Mousse Cake. Celtic music entertainment will be provided by the MacLeod Fiddlers. Tickets are $60/person or $100/couple.

Cantabile Choirs present It Takes a Village

The sparkling, spirited voices of the McGill Conservatory Children’s Choir, directed by Penni Clarke and the Ottawa Children’s Choir, directed by Allison Prowse, join Cantabile’s Junior and Children’s Choirs in a joyous concert that celebrates the boundless energy and promise of youth.
