Frontenac Womens Chorus

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

April 29, 2017 to October 31, 2017

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

Juvenis Festival

The Juvenis Festival is a week long youth arts festival for and entirely run by young people, that showcases the talents of ages 13-30 from in and around our community. This year, the Juvenis Festival is a part of National Youth Week, from April 29- May 7, 2017.

Festival of the Maples

April 29, 2017 - 9:00am

The Perth & District Chamber of Commerce host the annual FESTIVAL OF THE MAPLES in Downtown Heritage Perth, on Saturday, April 29th, 2017. A day of maple featuring a pancake breakfast at the Perth Legion (26 Beckwith St. East), vendors on the main street with food, arts and crafts, music and other entertainment on the main stage, the kids' area is located in the Basin with the Mighty Machines display and lots of games. 

Pitch Pine Primer and Woodlot Tour

April 29, 2017 - 11:00am

Tour one of the most unique forests in Ontario, just north of Elgin, Ontario. Its the largest stand of pitch pine in Canada.

You will also see the largest reported Pitch Pine on record in Canada. Come and tour this interesting and beautiful forest, and learn about this unique species with an interesting history.

Leeds Fire Service Fish Fry

April 29, 2017 - 4:30pm

 Leeds Firefighters Association and Lansdowne Fire Ladies Auxiliary will be holding their annual Fish Fry on Sat. April 29th from 4:30 until 7:00 at Fire Station #1 in Lansdowne.  Ham is provided for the non-fish lover.  Take outs are available. 

Roast beef dinner

April 29, 2017 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Roast beef dinner (cooked on a spit) with all the trimmings - Saturday, April 29 from 5:00-7:00 pm (unless sold out) at the Mallorytown Community Centre 76 County Rd 5 south. Cost $14 adults, $7 children 6-12, 5 and under free. Sponsored by St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Caintown. Everyone welcome.
