Frontenac Womens Chorus

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

Juvenis Festival

The Juvenis Festival is a week long youth arts festival for and entirely run by young people, that showcases the talents of ages 13-30 from in and around our community. This year, the Juvenis Festival is a part of National Youth Week, from April 29- May 7, 2017.

Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

National Youth Week

Kingston is celebrating 2017 National Youth Week May 1-7!  Check out the free/low cost activities for 13 to 24 year olds happening across the city. 

Attendees may be required to complete a Registration Form on site and show proof of age (valid ID/Student Card) to receive free or discounted admission.

The Windmill Lighthouse Shines Again!

Friday, May 6th at 8pm -
In conjunction with the Fort Town Night Run in Prescott, the Friends Of The Windmill invite you to watch for the Windmill Lighthouse to turn on a symbolic light at 8:00 pm. This is the first time that its light has shone out since 1978 - hopefully it will continue to shine for a long time.
The Fort Town Night Run is a first-ever signature fundraising event hosted by the local SKBP Ventures Scouts group to help celebrate Canada's 150th.
