Frontenac Womens Chorus

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

This may seem harsh, unless you're a Canadian. And if we're being completely honest, winter doesn't go down without a fight! So, when the season finally holds its breath for the next 5 or 6 months, we just want to celebrate!

PLANT SALE

Summer is coming! Front of Yonge Community in Bloom is hosting its Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, 13th May, 8 am to noon at the Recreation Park at the west end of Peryl Road in Mallorytown. Included will be perennials, annuals, trees, herbs, veggies and knick knacks. Cash only please. Refreshments will also be available, served by Junetown Women's Institute.

Brockville & District Horticultural Society Community Outreach Event

Brockville & District Horticultural Society members will be at the Parkedale Canadian Tire Garden Centre to answer questions and mingle with customers. Become a BDHS member and receive a 10% discount on plant purchases.

Annual Plant Sale- Gananoque Horticultural Society

Come to the Spencerville Mill Park to enjoy 1,000 red and white tulips and live music. Bring your own picnic or buy lunch and refreshments there. Prizes for the most creative red & white decorated bicycles, strollers or other things on wheels. This tulip celebration display is a Canada 150 event for families. 12pm-3pm

Musical Friends and New Friends

Come and hear a great big mix of Canadian folk, jazz, and pop tunes, offered up by The Other Kingston Trio, together with delicious Syrian sweet and savoury nibbles. This event is in support of the ARCC (Anglican Roman Catholic Cooperative) sponsorship of our new neighbours from Syria.
