Frontenac Womens Chorus

January 9, 2017 - 7:00pm to May 27, 2017 - 9:00pm

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

April 29, 2017 to October 31, 2017

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

This may seem harsh, unless you're a Canadian. And if we're being completely honest, winter doesn't go down without a fight! So, when the season finally holds its breath for the next 5 or 6 months, we just want to celebrate!

Artist's Talk on Fibre Art by Phillida Hargreaves

SELECTED WORKS OF FIBRE ART by Phillida Hargreaves will be at the Grace Centre, 4295 Stagecoach Rd. Sydenham from May 1 to August 4. Phillida loves the textures found in the world around her and enjoys the challenge of interpreting them in her work. She will give an ‘Artist Talk’ about her work on Sunday, May 14 at 2pm during the reception for the Official Opening of the Show. View Mon-Fri 1-4 pm, more info at 613-376-6477.
