Frontenac Womens Chorus

January 9, 2017 - 7:00pm to May 27, 2017 - 9:00pm

Are you a woman who loves to sing and is curious about joining a choir? The Frontenac Women's Chorus is welcoming new members for January. No audition is necessary and an ability to read music, while desirable, is not required if you can learn by ear and sing in tune with our enthusiastic and friendly group. Join us to sing an exciting variety of music on Monday nights - we have a spot for you!

Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

April 29, 2017 to October 31, 2017

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

This may seem harsh, unless you're a Canadian. And if we're being completely honest, winter doesn't go down without a fight! So, when the season finally holds its breath for the next 5 or 6 months, we just want to celebrate!

An Evening with Lorna Crozier at Wintergreen Studios

Lorna Crozier has published 17 books of poetry which have garnered Canada’s top awards, including the Governor-General’s Award, two Pat Lowther Awards and the National Magazine Award’s Gold Medal for Poetry. In 2005 she read at a command performance for Queen Elizabeth II and in 2011 she was invested as an Officer of the Order of Canada. She has been awarded five honorary doctorates, including one from McGill University, which she received with her husband and partner, Patrick Lane. She is a frequent guest on CBC radio and has read her poetry on every continent except Antarctica.

ACOTTI "CHAIR-ity" Auction

The Arts Council of the Thousand Islands (ACOTTI) presents its first fundraiser: the "CHAIR-ity" AUCTION.
This LIVE ART AUCTION features one-of-a-kind artist "re-designed" chairs by more than 20 local artists! Proceeds from the auction will be shared between the contributing artists and ACOTTI (to support its ongoing programs).
Bidders will enjoy an exciting evening with auctioneer Lyndon Marshall, live entertainment and a cash bar.

The auction preview starts at 7:00 pm and the LIVE auction starts at 7:30 pm!
