Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

April 29, 2017 to October 31, 2017

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

Summer Hours at the Museum of Health Care

The Museum of Health Care brings Canada's health care story to life, as it acquires, conserves, researches, displays, and interprets artefacts that help tell the story of health and health care in Canada.

The Museum of Health Care offers 12 onsite and offsite exhibits, 8 online exhibitions and 28 education programs to a diverse range of ages.

Storefront Fringe Festival

The Storefront Fringe Festival takes place in Kingston from June 23rd until July 1st 2017.

It’s put on by Theatre Kingston and features 17 companies taking over 3 empty storefronts with 102 theatre performances over 8 days!

Wolfe Island Festival of the Arts

The Wolfe Island Festival of the Arts—programmed by Swim Drink Fish ambassador Dave Bidini—will feature 2-days of literature, music, and spoken word in the heart of the Great Lakes. The Wolfe Island Festival of the Arts (June 23 – 24th) will launch Lake Ontario Waterkeeper’s Kingston & Wolfe Island Culture Festival (June 23 – August 12) in celebration of Great Lakes Voices.The Opening Ceremonies take place at the General Wolfe Inn’s Outdoor Patio at  5PM.

Chef Cooking Demos at Kingston Public Market

Starting Saturday June 24th and running every Saturday in July and August (except Canada Day) , there will be free chef cooking demos at the Kingston Public Market. Town of Gananoque Trail Clean Up Day

Join members of the Town of Gananoque Trees and Trails Advisory Panel and staff for a spring clean-up day and the opportunity to make a difference in our community!

This is a public event for all who bike, hike, walk, and care about helping to maintain the state of our urban forest trail system.

We will meet near the Gananoque Visitors Center (near Susie Push). Bags will be provided and trail sections divided up at the meeting spot.

Lower Beverley Lake Park Homecoming 2017

Former campers, staff and municipal officials are invited to celebrate 50 years of camping memories on Saturday, June 24th in the Bradford Pavilion at 2:00 p.m.
