Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

Lansdowne Country Market features local fresh food and unique products. The Market is a great place to meet your neighbours, welcome visitors while buying food and products to start your weekend off right. Summer Hours at the Museum of Health Care

The Museum of Health Care brings Canada's health care story to life, as it acquires, conserves, researches, displays, and interprets artefacts that help tell the story of health and health care in Canada.

The Museum of Health Care offers 12 onsite and offsite exhibits, 8 online exhibitions and 28 education programs to a diverse range of ages.

Music in the Park

Music in the Park is comprised of many different music series throughout downtown Kingston! We invite you to enjoy over 50 concerts with us this summer! The program runs from mid June through to September and features many different genres performed by Kingston’s very talented musicians.

Easy Paint Classes for Adults and Kids

Unleash your inner artist!

No experience needed and all supplies included for all of our Tuesday afternoon and evening classes. Small class sizes of 4 - 6 people ensure you receive individual attention to complete your artwork.

Adult Afternoon classes run from 1 - 5 pm

Adult Evening classes run from 6 - 9 pm

Children's Classes: 9 - 11 am Wednesdays during the summer.

Chef Cooking Demos at Kingston Public Market

Starting Saturday June 24th and running every Saturday in July and August (except Canada Day) , there will be free chef cooking demos at the Kingston Public Market. The demos will happen in the courtyard of Springer Market Square from 11 am until noon. Please see below for a list of this year’s fantastic local chefs.

Daily trips to Memorial Park Splash Pad and Park (weather dependent).

Eco Adventure Camp, Queen's University Biological Station

The Queen's University Biological Station (QUBS) is proud to be offering outreach programming for the Kingston and surrounding area community. Our camp is committed to providing growing kids with a unique opportunity to escape the city and explore the wonders of nature. Week long day-camps run from July 4th to August 25th with an Leaders in Training camp in week 1. Transportation from Kingston is provided. Summer Concerts at Fulford Place

The Thousand Islands Playhouse Presents: Leading Ladies

An ailing woman wishes to leave her fortune to her long-lost nephews, so two travelling actors decide to pass themselves off as her relatives to get the inheritance. When they find out that the nephews in question are actually nieces, their plan becomes a lot more complicated. But undaunted by the news, they continue their mission… in drag.

Lombardy Fair

At the Fair enjoy Produce, home Craft and Handcraft displays. Take in the Agricultural Showcase. For the western horse enthusiast there is New Ranch Competitions and Extreme Cowboy Races (Sat and Sun).  Kids Day (Sun) features games and activities.  Simply charming is the Junior Fair Ambassador Contest Show (Fri), Baby Show (Sun).

For lots of excitement, take in the Demolition Derby (Fri evening), the Antique and Farm Stock Tractor Pull with a Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull on Sat, and the 4X4 Truck Pull on Sun.  A Horse and Pony Pull on Mon rounds out the four-day fair.

The Thousand Islands Land Trust’s (TILT) Moonlight Millsite Lake Paddle with IRLC

Join TILT and the Indian River Lake Conservancy (IRLC) for a new and fascinating, kayak adventure guided by the light of the full moon! Millsite, a secluded lake nestled in the woods of Redwood provides minimal lights from homes and the opportunity to enjoy the serene night sounds of wildlife. Glow sticks for kayaks provided! Kayak rentals will be available for a $15 fee in partnership with Riverbay Adventure Inn.
