Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit

 Through partnerships with local conservation agencies and consultations with the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe representatives, the ACHM is pleased to present the Stewards of the St. Lawrence 2017 Exhibit in the main hall. This family focused exhibit will highlight the importance of the river to the local and visiting communities and showcase it is a cultural, recreational and economic lifeline. Through this interactive exhibit the ACHM can share information regarding conservation and stewardship and help to leave a legacy for future generations.

Lansdowne Country Market features local fresh food and unique products. The Market is a great place to meet your neighbours, welcome visitors while buying food and products to start your weekend off right. New on-site entertainment, demonstrations, kids activities and nearby attractions such as antique and vintage stores, restaurants, heritage walking paths, Library and splash pad create an experience for all ages and interests.

The Thousand Islands Playhouse Presents: The Comedy Of Errors

Two sets of estranged twins, separated at birth, find themselves in the same city 25 years later with hilarious consequences. This series of mistaken identities, assumed personas, and wild mishaps is performed in a new vaudeville-style adaptation by a cast of only 5 actors (with lightning fast quick changes)!

Exhibition Opening of She Shells and Associations

Modern Fuel is pleased to present Lisa DiQuinzio and Heather Goodchild’s exhibition She Shells from August 26 to September 30th, 2017.

She Shells at Modern Fuel considers how sifting and unearthing is integral to the creative process and how the objects and spaces that surround us impact our state of being through many emotional and cognitive layers.

By employing painting, textile and sculptural work, and an intuitive process of making, DiQuinzio and Goodchild explore the cultural and psychological implications in the consideration of exterior and interior spaces.

St. Andrew's Beginning Recorder Class

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is offering adult group lessons in beginning recorder on Tuesday mornings at 10 am starting September 5, 2017. Contact the instructor, Dr. Lisa Szeker-Madden at 343-884-8436 Cost is $10 per student per lesson.

Kingston Ribfest & Craft Beer Show

Barbequed ribs and chicken, great craft-brewed beer, live entertainment – all in the great atmosphere of Memorial Centre Park. Life doesn’t get much better! Bring your friends, family and co-workers and savour the flavour!

Admission is free but donations to the Partners in Mission Food Bank will be accepted at the gate. Please note that due to the nature of the event, anyone under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult (ie. your parents) to be admitted.

The Family Fun Zone brought to by Grand River Inflatables features a Climbing Wall, Inflatables – Fun for all ages.

Concerts Flamenco

Friday, September 8th, 2017 beginning at 7:30pm, the Studio Theatre Perth presents an exciting evening of the best of traditional flamenco with MARTA & RICHARD, cante & guitarra.
