What's Up, Cupcake?

March 1, 2018 - 1:00am to March 31, 2018 - 12:00pm

What's Up, Cupcake? March is cupcake month at the Gananoque & District Humane Society and we're asking for community-wide help by baking and sharing cupcakes to raise funds through donations for delicious cupcakes. It's fun, easy, and no registration required.
Just bake up your fave recipe and find people eager to eat them! They're everywhere - at your work, classes, clubs, meetings, dinner parties, school, after your exercise class! Local businesses and restaurants are joining in, too.

Repair Cafe Kingston Monthly Meet-Up

March 11, 2018 - 2:00pm

Repair Café Kingston is a community initiative of the Kingston Unitarian Fellowship that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. We are hosting monthly meet-ups on the second Sunday of each month. Bring your broken items and we will work with you to fix them on the spot with the help of our fixers. We can help you fix your clothing and textiles, wooden items and furniture, bicycles and skateboards, electrical items, toys and stuffed animals. Not sure we can fix it? Bring it by and we'll take a look!

CRCA Maple Madness March Break

March 12, 2018 to March 16, 2018

One of our most popular – and tastiest - annual events will soon be upon us as the CRCA presents Maple Madness at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Authority over the March Break, Monday, March 12 to Friday, March 16.
Take a tractor-drawn wagon back to the sugar bush to see how maple syrup was made by the early settlers of the region and also how it’s made today. Enjoy delicious pancakes with maple syrup and even purchase some maple syrup or maple sugar to take home.
