Merrickville Artists Guild (MAG) 2018 Fall Tour

AUTUMN TOUR
For over 30 years the Merrickville
Artists’ Guild Autumn Studio Tour has
given thousands of art lovers a peek
into our creative worlds. While most
MAG ARTISTS open their studios year
round with set hours, by chance or by
appointment, we like to highlight our
annual Studio Tour and Sale in the fall.
At that time if you decide to visit you
know for sure we will be in our studios
waiting to welcome you with new
works made especially for this event.

Dry Stone Festival

a FREE EVENT FOR THE PUBLIC at Topsy Farms on Amherst Island. Watch and learn this ancient technique during a two-day festival of demonstrations, walling and stone-carving workshops, 9am – 2pm each day; interactive displays; kids’ workshops, stories and colouring books. Topsy also offers walking trails, pet lambs, and nature to enjoy. Lots of other things to see and do on the Island that weekend including the House Tour on Saturday. Ferry leaves once an hour on the HALF hour – cost, $9 per car.

Lyndhurst Art & Culture Tour

Pull Up a (Red) Chair: Enjoy Local Talent & Village Hospitality on the Lyndhurst Art & Culture Tour

Mark your calendars! On Sunday September 30th, the village of Lyndhurst and surrounding area, will once again be hosting the Lyndhurst Art and Culture Tour. The Tour, a partnership event with Brockville’s Culture Days Canada, invites visitors to come spend the day in Lyndhurst enjoying local artistic talent and hospitality.

Fabulous Fall Fungi

Now in its 9th year, these popular multi-day, hands-on workshops are a fun mix of collecting trips, classroom work, mini-lectures and more. Suitable for all levels; small class size. Typically, 150-200 species are identified per workshop. Meals and accommodation included. Details: https://qubs.ca.
