This blog is dedicated to our amazing sponsors and donors! As a small non-profit the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network relies on donations and sponsorship to help cover the core operating costs of the organization. Programs and projects are funded most often through large grants and funders such as the federal government but core operating costs are covered through individual donations and corporate sponsorship. Without these important donations, this special area would not be recognized on a global scale as a UNESCO biosphere reserve.
Especially during these past few years, donations allowed the FABN to continue delivering programs in a Covid appropriate environment. Along with other programs, our nature camps were able to host over 400 youth each summer and we were able to host our annual Trails Festival in line with provincial regulations. The FABN would like to give a big thank you to the following groups: City of Brockville, South Frontenac, Elizabethtown Kitley, Mallorytown, Front of Yonge, Transition Brockville, CANARM, Trailhead Kingston, Egg Farmers of Ontario (zone 9), Eastern Engineering Group, and the 1000 Islands RV Center. Additionally, the FABN receives generous donations from many individuals, businesses, and families who could not be named!
