The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority is welcoming folks to come out and experience the sights and sounds of the trails of the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area as part of an early winter evening Lantern Hike. Meet up at the Outdoor Centre at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 7 and join staff for a guided hike through a wintry bush, forest and marsh. Afterwards, you can warm up with a hot beverage by the fireplace back at the Outdoor Centre. The cost is $4 per person, including gate fee. Pre-registration is required. Please visit www.crca.ca/online-services. The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401. Entry fees are: $5 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3.50 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $15 per car. Annual passes are available for $85 per year.
