Turtle Box Workshop

A FABulous way to Celebrate World Wildlife Day!

Do you LOVE living in the Frontenac Arch Biosphere? Are you interested in helping local wildlife? Have you noticed any nesting turtles on your property?

Join us as we build 25 Community Nest Protector Boxes for the 5 species of turtles found throughout the Biosphere. These boxes will be on loan, to members of the community for use on private properties and to encourage a healthier, happier turtle population in our region. As participants in this workshop, you will be the first to get a chance to sign out one of these boxes for the 2019 Turtle Nesting Season.

Building Plans will be available after the workshop, to share with others and to build, build, build!

This is a FREE event. We suggest that participants are over the age of 8 and have direct supervision from a parent/guardian, if they are under 18 years old.
