Conestoga

The Conestoga was built in Cleveland, Ohio in 1878.  The 253 foot freighter had an estimated 30,000 bushels of wheat on board when she caught fire and sank just outside Lock 28 on the Galop Canal in 1922. No lives lost.  Parts of the Conestoga have been salvaged
