FAB Nature Camp @ Mac Johnson
What are your plans for Summer 2021? Do you like adventure? Are you interested in spending heaps of time outside, in the sand, mud, and on the water? If you said yes to any of these, you will love what we have planned for our Summer Nature Camp Program at Mac Johnson!
The Nature Camp at Mac Johnson is actually offered between 2 different sites, within the greater Brockville Area. Mac Johnson Wildlife Area is a Conservation Area located on the Reservoir at 4649 Debruge Road (Elizabethtown-Kitley Township). This 600+ hectare property boasts fantastic pond dipping opportunities, maintained hiking trails, mixed wood forest - perfect for shelter building and bushcraft, and even a tree nursery. Campers will have the opportunity to find many great adventures at Mac Johnson, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of the program.
Summer Camp just isn't the same without the opportunity to enjoy the cool, clean water found throughout the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. On Tuesday and Thursday, campers will spend their time at the Lyn Valley Conservation Area. Here, they can venture onto one of the trails for a scavenger hunt or game of Predator Prey, take a cool dip in the old quarry, or discover a new amphibian or reptile friend. Lyn Valley Conservation Area is located less than 10 km East of Mac Johnson and brings the perfect balance to our program.
Join us for one or all of our theme based weeks, as we explore the natural wonders of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere. Each Week will take our campers on a new adventure, exploring, investigating, and reconnecting with the natural world.

Please note: all registrations will be treated as a "REQUEST TO REGISTER". If a spot is available and payment has been received, your registration will be completed. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to update our registration page and we may have an "overbooked" week. If this occurs, you will be contacted with 72 hours of your request and provided the option to receive a refund or to switch to an available week. As registration for individual weeks becomes full, we will do our best to remove those pages as soon as we are aware, to limit the potential for "overbooked" weeks. Thank you in advance, for your understanding.
