Brockville Museum Winter Lecture Series

Tuesday, February 20, 2018 - 10:00am

Brockville Museum
5 Henry St.
Brockville ON

February 20th: McMaster University Library’s Map Specialist, Gord Beck joins us for a unique look at the development and use of aerial photography in WWI. The Great War was the first to make extensive use of aerial photography thanks to the airplane—still in its infancy—which offered a vitally important platform from which to view the enemy.

Cost for the five-lecture series which runs from Feb. 6 - Mar. 6 is only $40, or $10 per lecture. Light refreshments will be served during the break. Lectures will be presented at the Brockville Museum, 5 Henry St., Brockville, starting at 10am. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. To purchase your seat you are welcome to phone us at (613) 342-4397, stop by the museum or go to select individual lecture dates or to purchase tickets for the entire series (a saving of $10). Due to the popularity of the series, we cannot accept reservations without payment.
