St. Andrew's Beginning Recorder Class

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is offering adult group lessons in beginning recorder on Tuesday mornings at 10 am starting September 5, 2017. Contact the instructor, Dr. Lisa Szeker-Madden at 343-884-8436 Cost is $10 per student per lesson.

Knowledge Circles event: Who can speak for the land?

The Knowledge Circles Project invites citizens in The Land Between region (from Georgian Bay to the Ottawa Valley) to share their observations/knowledge of the land and build community relationships. Project leaders are The Land Between organization with Curve Lake First Nation and Hastings Stewardship Council. For more info:

Knowledge Circle conferences are based on traditional Indigenous Talking Circles. These events are for landowners and resource-users (farmers, hunters, gardeners, hikers, etc). Political agendas are not permitted.

CRCA Creatures of the Night Hike

The CRCAs Creatures of the Night Hike is in fact a way to experience wildlife in its natural habitat in the briskness of a fall evening.

The event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area, and is a chance to find out about the animals that come out at night.
