CRCA Scat & Tracks Hike

Have you ever been out strolling or skiing in the woods and wondered what animals were sharing the same wintry environment as you? The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority offers you and your family a chance to become ‘wild animal detectives’ by participating in the Scat and Tracks Hike at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area on Sunday, Feb. 17, starting at 1 p.m.

Catch the 12:30 ferry from Millhaven (please arrive early, the boat can be busy). The cost is $9 round trip/car. Meet at Topsy Farms,14775 Front Rd.

Spend a few hours exploring the farm, scratch a calf, pat a lamb, learn about animal prints and scats,and challenge yourself to find unusual items and complete a Herculean task! This activity is for children ages 4-12 (must be accompanied). Please dress appropriately for being outdoors in cold weather. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase
