Monday, February 12, 2018 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

6 Broad St.

Brockville, ON

We all know that the Biosphere’s Amazing Places are … well amazing. It’s time to let everyone else know too. Do you own a restaurant, bed and breakfast, or other tourism-related business? Are you interested in attracting more tourists to your business? If so, this workshop is for you. Please contact Liz Harder for details on how to register.

Self-propelled tourism (cyclists, hikers, paddlers) is a growing market and the Thousand Islands region is an outdoor lover's playground. Bringing more guests to the area is the ultimate goal but what are the best ways to do that? By creating itineraries and experiences for specific market segments!

The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network is excited to be hosting a hands-on workshop for the local tourism community to give them the tools to attract the self-propelled traveler to their businesses.

This workshop will focus on cycling, hiking, paddling and family markets.

The workshop registration is $20 and will include lunch and refreshments
