Sunday, February 10, 2019 - 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area
1641 Perth Road, Glenburnie, ON

If you’ve always wanted to capture the abundant beauty of nature in the winter in photographs, the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority has the workshop for you.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, starting at 1 p.m., award-winning Kingston photojournalist Rob Mooy will lead a mid-winter walk through the trails at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area in search of photographic treasures.

Those in attendance will learn how to envision the art of nature through the camera lens and create photographic memories to last a lifetime, employing techniques that will help you capture the stark beauty of the snow and ice-covered splendour of the landscape.

Participants need to provide their own digital camera. Pre-registration is required at www.crca.ca/online-services. The cost is $15 for annual pass holders and $21 for non-pass holders, which includes the gate fee.

The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401. Entry fees are: $5 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3.50 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $15 per vehicle. Annual passes are available for $85 per year and provide unlimited access to both Little Cataraqui Creek C.A. and the Gould Lake Conservation Area.
