Art, Ice & Martello Alley Gallery

A Different Kind of Art Exhibition - From a Different Kind of Art Gallery

There are some things Google, Siri or Alexa just can't do. They can't create the great feelings of enjoying time spent with friends and family or the rosy cheeks glowing from some good old fashioned winter fun outside. Let's face it, we could all use a break from the bad news that seems to surround us daily and we think the best way to beat that is to get outside! Leave the television and computer behind and enjoy a day or evening downtown with friends and family and take in Froid'Art.

If you haven't experienced Froid'Art before, make this be the year you see what all the fuss is about! You won't be disappointed. Imagine a warm cup of hot chocolate, friends and family and a stroll around downtown while you check out some incredible art frozen into 300 pound blocks of crystal clear ice. The art is illuminated at night and some are painted with glow-in-the-dark paints for that extra surprise! Sounds pretty awesome doesn't it?

This is the 4th year for Kingston's amazingly unique frozen public art exhibit! Starting on February 8th Martello Alley & downtown merchants will be sponsoring this exciting free public art exhibit.

If you want to learn more about where you can find a map of all the Froid'Art installations, go to

Or you can ask Siri, Google or Alexa; that they can do.
